A six-year-old boy who went missing at a service station on the M1 motorway has been found safe and well.
A police search for Aadil Umair Rahim at Newport Pagnell services went on for more than nine hours.
A police helicopter was deployed during the operation, which began at about 19:15 GMT on Friday, Thames Valley Police said.
At about 04:15 the force confirmed that Aadil had been found and was being reunited with his family.
Supt Amy Clements, said: “This was a very difficult operation involving a very young boy and we are relieved to say that Aadil has been found safe and well.
“I’d like to take this opportunity to thank the local community, who immediately offered help in trying to find Aadil.
“Also I’d like to thank those who have co-operated with police during this time.”
